Geared for youth ministry professionals with a masters degree and active in ministry, this advanced learning takes place in four 1-year modules, followed by the D. Min. project. The cohort (group of fellow ministry professionals) comes together for course work and maintains contact over the four year period, including annual, 2-week intensives, group work projects, and regular contact throughout each module.
The Doctor of Ministry is a practical degree, studying and researching in the field, and then applying what is learned to ministry situations. Even the dissertation project calls for the application of current research in a ministry setting.
